Banjo + Berri = Profit

But she never pegged Banjo to be into that. Some people surprised her still, people she knew for years.
Conker wasn't due to come over, so she had a lot of free time on her hands. Might as well spend some quality time with other people and maybe make this yoga session a little longer.
Just to get Banjo started any way. She waited for him to be over.]
no subject
Banjo and Berri were best friends, had been for a long time. They hung out a lot together, what with Kazooie and Conker liking to cause trouble while their sensible partners relaxed. He'd never tried yoga, but at this point, he was ready to try anything once, and she had the experience. Hopefully this wouldn't be a TOTAL disaster.
And thus, he knocked on her door...]
no subject
She knew it all.
She had already began her stretching when she heard the knock. Probably him, should be. If it was anyone else, she wasn't home. Today, she actually truly wanted all of her focus to be on Banjo. Don't call her sentimental, because she was. Prod her enough and you may get her to say she cared about the bear. Before she punched you in the face for prodding.
She looked through the peephole to see that, yes, it was Banjo. Oh good, she quickly opened the door and gave a cheeky grin.]
So, Bear. You, like, finally came around, huh?
no subject
[He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, smiling up at Berri. Kazooie was his best friend, but she could be extremely nosey, and took great delight in teasing him. He didn't want to give her any more fodder for that.
He trusted Berri to help him figure this out, though, and he had an open mind and was ready to learn.]
How're you doing? [he asked politely when she let him in.]
no subject
You know, if she would then maybe she should come next time. That way you could, like, totally show off and set an example.
[Berri shut the door and made her way to the space she set up for this little meet before answering him.]
Oh, y'know, the usual.
Except, like, today I decided to have a blueberry smoothie instead of a strawberry cuz...y'know, living on the edge.
[Joking. Completely. It was just an exasperated way of saying literally nothing was new lately.]
no subject
[It was probably true. Kazooie wasn't the type to willingly make a fool of herself, or even look like she was making a fool of herself. Banjo didn't have that problem. He just had every girl he was a friend with try to tease him.]
Long as it was tasty! That's what I say.
I didn't know what I should bring over today for this... I did bring some track shorts, but that's about it.

garry! and this one (who is this mysterious person)
golly gee who is this
But, there were also no customers today.
Garry sat down behind the pastry counter and just found himself sketching. Mostly he was just sketching wares the Honeybee chefs put out. So there were lots of cakes and other things he staring drawing. He had a small cup of coffee himself that he occasionally went to sip. But he was quiet, in his own world.]
I DON'T KNOW, WHAT A MYSTERY!!!
She stretches as she walks around, contemplating going to the staff room to watch some television, when she notices Garry sitting by the pastry counter and sketching. Time to take a detour: she moves over to stand beside him, watching him draw. Vietnam says nothing, because she doesn't want to interrupt him while he's in his creative zone. Besides, it's still nice to just quietly watch a man do what he does best.]
no subject
He really then just looked up to take a look at another pastry to start a new page when he noticed a figure in the glass. A figure that may have been standing there longer than anticipated before actually being noticed. It was so that no matter who it was, it would cause Garry to jump and squeak a little. Dropping his pencil on the ground. Oops.]
no subject
A-ah, I'm sorry for startling you, I just didn't want to interrupt.
no subject
Part of him wants to feel justified considering, but when it's his loved ones...he couldn't excuse it.
He gently picked up the pencil, bashfully. His cheeks even showing a shade of pink.]
O-oh, no, no no no. Don't be sorry, I was just drifting I suppose.
no subject
She shakes her head after he takes back the pencil.] I like watching you draw, so it is fine to drift. It is not like we have anything to do.

idk someone who erron volunteered to put on outworld
The first thing he did, was get Daria a weapon. Which was a problem because she hadn't done any... weapon training. Hm. Which means that when Erron returned to their camp, he brought over what seemed to be Outworld's best selection of weaponry with him and laid it all on the ground. ]
I'd say use magic, but you need something for the magic to catch on to first.
the girl that let this happen
Rule two: Blackmail Quinn if she ever found out.
Rule three: Bring a souvenir for Jane.
Daria made sure she abode to those rules at the very least as she decided to be completely insane and finally take up on this guy's offer to go to Outworld, his home away from the home he left hundreds of years ago.
Daria must be insane, she wouldn't clearly do this in her right mind. Jane would make fun and say she maybe did it for fickle human curiosity, or maybe just for stupid old Erron if she wanted a real verbal smackdown. If she were here. Daria wasn't sure if she would want Jane to be here. She herself shouldn't be.
Already when they approached the marketplace, it was like night and day for her. It was a different culture all together. Daria hated to stand out as it was...she sure did stand out now. A few marketplace goers all looked to her, some gawked, some she was sure she saw talk behind her back.
This was a bad, stupid idea. What were you thinking?
Was she targeted? Was she about to be mugged? Or worse? Who knew here?
Daria was an outcast for a completely different reason than she was before. But she had to see at least a few hours through, just to say she did it and she didn't have to do it again.
At their camp, she tried to sit down and wait patiently. If she had the money, maybe she could stand to buy some books from here. Maybe that fickle human curiosity of hers wanted her to use this opportunity to actually learn about a new place. That was when Erron came back. With weapons.
And Daria just, stared.]
I haven't even decided if I want to stay here for more than a few hours and you want me to carry something that murders people.
no subject
[ Erron picks up a spear and holds it up towards Daria. ]
This one's lightweight, just swing towards whatever you wanna deal with.
[ He's just completely ignoring her "few hours' quip. ]
no subject
Mainly because she was scared.
She grudgingly took the spear. She was so, very unsure with this. She gave a air of, even though she held it in her hand, she wasn't sure she wanted this.]
Just swing. I'd be a regular kombatant in no time like that.
[She stared at the spear, deciding to not beat around the bush with this anymore.]
I don't know. I'm not sure if I should do this.
no subject
[ says Erron, rather nonchalantly as he's rummaging in a bag of what looked to be full of spikes.
And he was right, if Daria wanted to leave, she just needed to look over his shoulder and see the same sliver of distortion in the air that lead them here in the first place. He really looked nonplussed and sounded it too, because ah well, more weapons for him to sell on. ]
no subject
No, it actually wasn't fine. Daria looked behind her, standing there. Yeah, she could just turn around, pretend this never really happened. Except it did happen, and she wouldn't be sure if she would be okay with it if she walked right back before anything actually happened.
She sighed and held the spear a little more tight.]
Alright, I already made it out here as it is. Might as well reach top tier insanity before I decide sitting on my ass and watching TV sounds better.
[She looked back again, trying to stick to her guns and not go back. Really.]
So, do I just wait for someone to try to slaughter me for fun or is there an actual activity we can do that doesn't have to do with bloodshed?
no subject
[ He's still fiddling with his weapons, taking his Tartakan blade and retying and refixing it. ]
You can have some Outworld cuisine. Taigore flesh is great with barbeque sauce.

Little Mac!
-Clean two coffee spills
-Clean herself up after accidentally spilling soda on herself
-Intentionally dumping the rest of said soda on Lars after he laughed at her for spilling soda on herself.
-Setting a bucket under the hole in the ceiling caused by a strange-looking monster falling through the ceiling, which Steven's family had to come and take care of. There was a surprisingly lack of property damage... inside the shop, anyway. Just ignore the charred marks on the side of the building.
After the lunch rush cleared out and it started raining, the store was eerily quiet now. Sadie was in the process of setting out another bucket to catch more rainwater when she noticed a small puddle forming on the floor. As crazy as this day was, she was relieved that things were finally slowing down.
At the sound of the door chime, Sadie looks up from what she's doing.]
Hi, welcome to the Big Donut! Uh, please be careful about where you step. It's still pretty slippery in here from all the rain.
no subject
But then, he felt some rain.
That never stopped him. He kept running, and running. Feeling the rain cool him down as he sweat.
This, however, did not stave his hunger. After a few moments, he saw a giant doughnut on the roof and thought to himself, that's it. The pink clad, jock boy came in completely drenched for the lady at the counter greeted to him. He stayed silent for just a few seconds, as if getting used to the temperature since he was still drenched. Then, he picked his head up, and grinned.]
It sure is comin' down too, afternoon!
no subject
You're not kidding. Pretty soon I'll have to use the donut boxes instead of buckets. Can I get you something to warm you up?
[Mac looks pretty drenched and Sadie doesn't mind grabbing him a cup of coffee. The store's pretty dead right now anyway with all the rain.]
no subject
Well, eheh, I don't think I'm makin' this any better. I'm soaked myself, sorry.
[There was that legit guilt about it, she probably spent a long time cleaning this, after all. Soon, he reached the counter. He started staring at the doughnuts like they were small pieces of gold, oh he was hungry. Which one, which one.]
