CALL ME OUT MEME

How it works:
a) Your dude plus my dude. Put these two characters in the subject line.
b) Together, we plot a scenario. What kind? Any kind! AU. Off-screen in game. General. Anything. If you have any idea at all, feel free to contact me and we can make it work!
c) ???
d) Profit.

[Daria seriously stared at him.]

She cared a little, only because she knew this was a complete disaster and wouldn't maybe even last long. She wanted to kiss Trent before, but she never did. Especially since she knew a relationship with him would go nowhere.
But in hindsight, did she care that much? No, not at all. Erron became dead silent, and she should say...something, should she?]
If you think I would care that much about precious first kisses, I might actually be a normal member of the female human race.
Or, dare say, sappy like my sister.

This doesn't change the fact that Erron is a walking disaster and there should be some level of sympathy for anyone who gets caught up in it. Especially this way. ]
Okay... as long as you ain't going to give me shit about it in the future.
[ Man he doesn't want that kind of responsibility placed on him.
It'll pass though, if she's okay with it. ]

They both knew the line they crossed and they both were going to have to deal with it. But dealing with it with Erron wasn't so bad.
At the very least, she now knew they were kinda on the same page. They didn't want to be pegged down by any of this. Daria didn't submit to anyone's will, but she could agree to terms if she deemed them good to follow.]
I won't.
Besides, I meant what I sorta said.
It was nice. I don't want to ruin the fun all of the time, you know. We both took the bullet, figuratively. I'm willing to take as much responsibility for it.

Erron looks around, and picks up a small leather flask from the ground. He opens it and takes a deep breath of the smell of strong alcoholic spirits and takes a gulp. The fire of it steadied his nerves and it was good.
This was one hell of a trip back. ]
no subject
Oh okay, so all of those repercussions were coming up. They did the thing now they have to deal, or else.]
What happens now?
[If he wouldn't ask it then she will.]
no subject
You want a sip?
[ Watch this man effortlessly try and skirt responsibility or culpability or anything as he holds out the flask, propriety be damned. ]

It wasn't an easy thing for Daria either, and to be frank, she was a bit disappointed that he wasn't putting up a finger to make any sort of point about it.
She was trying, and she really hoped Erron would too. At least say something about it so she could figure something out.
Maybe Erron didn't feel the same way but she would like to speak with him somewhat normally and not be awkward and distant for the rest of whatever the heck kind of relationship this was. She could only assume he felt differently, because he really wasn't talking about it.
She held up a hand.]
No thanks, all yours, cowboy. My family might actually ask questions if I came home with anything other than disinterest on my face.
[She looked at him though. Did you have anything to say?]
no subject
[ he says as he closes the flask and dumps it back on the ground. ]
I could go back to kissin' ya if it didn't freak you out. I ain't a... touchyfeely guy but I can bend a bit.
no subject
Daria stood a little closer, if only so communication could be a little better.]
Look, it's just like with the med kit. I know you have a certain set of morals different from mine. It comes with the territory. My greatest concerns for the moment are being able to get out of bed and stay sane after listening to my sister every day.
You are a hardened mercenary who has to live off how large your body count is and hope your employer isn't cranky enough that you have extra work to do. We're from two different worlds and I don't want you to feel like you have to bend anything because we're different.
I get it, I understand.
It might be hard to believe but I honestly just want you comfortable around me. I trust you and I honestly can't imagine Erron Black to be any less of an egotistical ass.
[Daria was always honest with her feelings, no matter how blunt they were.]
no subject
You called me an ass.
[ He grins. ]
I'm doin' something right then.
no subject
I thought that was your life goal. Or one of them. Next to having boatloads of cash.
no subject
[ He shrugs, talking plainly as he looks Daria straight in the eye. ]
But that ain't here nor there. And I reckon I'll be here nor there for a good few hundred years more. So in that time, I'm going to have my fun, kill some jackasses and occasionally find a pretty gal and conversation partner.
no subject
Well, I'm all for owning land to be all by myself. Having a boomstick so the damn kids didn't get on your property. Sounds like the good life to strive for.
[A few hundred years huh...and maybe Erron would look the exact same. She maybe still had the smallest smile on her face.]
Hopefully in that far in future you can still tell me about it at my tombstone. I'm sure my old decayed skeleton would love to hear about that last job that got you there. I hear the dead still make good conversation.
no subject
He may have been in Outworld way too long because people generally don't die unless they're killed, and most of them are pretty good at avoiding getting killed.
Whatever. This is too much thinking for him and Erron rubs his head with a hand, trying to mitigate the headache. ]
Well that was an emotional ballache.
no subject
At this point, it was anyone's guess how she was going to go. If she was going to live to be an old lady, Erron would still be the same. He probably would.
Daria was morbid by nature, quite a bit. She went too far though this time, she knew now. She picked up the flask from the ground and handed it to him. Just in case, you know.]
Perk of my own mortality. If I lived to be a thousand, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I'm mostly content with reading and writing, then eating and sleeping.
no subject
Still an emotional ballache, darlin'.
no subject
Maybe she was touched that hers wasn't a light joke to him.
She was really touched actually.]
Hrm...sorry. I don't have much of a filter for my own morbid sense of humor.
no subject
[ says Erron after he drinks another sip from his flask, closes it and is making himself comfortable with the ground.
As in, he's two seconds from lying face first in the ground because this conversation went from great to terrible to hot to great and now doom and gloom. ]
no subject
[She felt...terrible, actually. Way to go, Morgendorffer. You did it again, you charmer, you.
She felt a tug inside. She really needed to make an effort to fix this. In a different way, this time. This time she really needed to think more of his feelings than hers.]
I'm a bitch, but I like you. So let me help make it up to you, that hopefully doesn't involve me having to carry you through the desert.
[To a motel. Or whatever the equivalent of Outworld motels are. Or not run in Kotal Khan. How would she explain that?
Hello, Lost Pet Services...
Also, she liked him. Fuck you, don't repeat that.]
no subject
[ This is clearly a foreign concept to Erron, as she continues laying on the ground, holding the flask in his hand and craning his head up to look at Daria. ]
no subject
I don't know. Make you feel better?
no subject
[ A beat. ]
Lay it on me then.
[ He gestures with a wave of his hand. ]
no subject
She was just worried this one would smell like booze.
She sat next to him on the ground.]
You cowboys have simple needs. I'll be an expert at this by the end of the day.
[No extortion on her part, though. She reached up with her neck and gave him another smooch. Looked like she was actually working to make this work out okay. Call the squad, Daria was making an effort. Her parents would be proud, and unholy pissed at the same time. Quinn though, if Quinn ever found out...she secretly hoped she could be a little jealous.]
