Welcome to the Call Me Out Post!
1) Pick a muse.
2) Pick one of yours.
3) Put which one of mine you want in the subject line.
4) Discuss a prompt on Plurk or literally just start one and surprise me. I'm game.
5) We all profit.

Calling out Peach
A storm called Daisy.
"PEACH!" the excitable princess declared to her best friend. "We're having a slumber party! Tonight!"

She knew that voice, she knew that tone, and she knew that sentence.
It was practically on reflex, she knew what to do in this situation. Peach, if anything, was a quick learner and thinker.
So, instantaneously, she blurted, "Pizza or Chinese?"

"I had known you to be so spontaneous, but we always seem prepared for these things regardless."
She meant that very much endearing like as she made way to get this thing started. Then suddenly, with an even more mischievous tone, she muttered one single sentence.
"Oh, please tell me you brought Resident Koopa 4."
no subject
"Oh, Peach, would I let you down like that?" she asked. "I even brought the HD version!"
no subject
Peach clapped her hands in excitement over spooky bloody horror games.
"Oh good! Splendid! I hadn't gotten passed the castle portion last time."

"You truly know how to prepare, it's a gift."

Hopefully Bowser was taking the night off and wouldn't crash the party.(no subject)

Calling out Mayu Amakura!
It was definitely a little more rural than he was used to - almost as much so as Yamaku Academy. But it had seemed like a nice option for a vacation now that his last year of high school was over and he had some time before going to university. He'd heard about a town that was going to be flooded once this new dam was built and he'd also heard that you could still go there and look around. The weather was grey and a little rainy and it had seemed like a spooky thing to do by yourself. Plus, he had been better about getting exercise lately and a walk through a place like that would count as his daily cardio.
There was a cold breeze and a light dusting of rain already, and that made it all the weirder to see a red butterfly moving around. Shouldn't it be hidden away somewhere, hiding from the cold? Hisao decided to follow it and see where it led him. He trailed after it for a way, wandering through the woods until finally reaching what he assumed to be the village that was due to be under water. It was eerily silent and empty, except for him and the butterfly...
...oh. And that girl over there with the bandaged leg.
She looked maybe a little younger than him and it struck him as odd that she might be here alone. Hopefully approaching her wouldn't startle her too much. (He knew how hazardous that could be, especially with his own heart condition.)
"Hello?"
no subject
The butterflies seemed to hover around her and were growing in number by the second.
"It's cold...lonely...the rain...it's starting..."
She was talking to herself and barely noticed Hisao there. In fact, she didn't pay him any mind at all. He might as well have never been there.
"The village...I'm waiting...I'm always waiting..."
no subject
He'd never expected to come across some kind of butterfly summoner talking to herself in front of a pedestal.
He wasn't a superstitious boy - far from it. His favorite subjects were math, physics, chemistry. Hard edged clinical subjects that dealt with the real world. But he still had something inside him that caused his heart to skip a beat (Not literally, thankfully.) when he noticed the birds had shut up and these butterflies were showing up out of seemingly nowhere. It would be just his luck that he'd approach the girl and she'd turn around to reveal that she had no face or was some kind of Oni.
But he'd heard the words 'lonely' and 'waiting' and he knew that he couldn't just walk away. He was probably being silly, anyway - butterflies didn't come from nowhere and a pedestal was just a pedestal. It didn't have to mean anything sinister.
"Hello? Excuse me?" he said, walking closer. She'd definitely be able to hear him well - he had been close enough to hear her. "Hello? Miss?"
no subject
It wasn't Mio, and the fact that it wasn't Mio always made her feel uneasy. She took a blank glance at the boy, and nearly looked like she was about to fall over. She wasn't an Oni, thankfully. She looked like a normal girl, but there was something wrong with her. An observational person would find her expression to be sad, almost longing.
The butterlies were by the hundreds at this point, and were fluttering everywhere.
"She's not here. Mio..."
no subject
But it did appear as though he'd startled her somewhat. The cloud of butterflies was growing more numerous as well, and in between their crimson wings he caught glances of a sad girl. A lost girl. She must be separated from her group.
"It's alright. Maybe I can help you find who you're looking for?" he offered, trying to wave butterflies out of his face. "My name is Hisao. I just came here to look around, but if you need help getting back to... um... you said, Mio, right? Maybe I can help you look?"
Hopefully she wouldn't be frightened by the idea of being here alone with a guy she didn't know. He could understand that might be off-putting to a lot of girls, even if his intentions were entirely pure.
no subject
It spoke to her, told her stories. Yae. I'm waiting for you. You ran away. Everyone died.
The voice was sad, but angry, and regretful. It hurt Mayu, but she felt such a connection with the voice. There was a feeling of loneliness associated with it, the voice continued to stay with her. Yes, Mayu was a very prominent spirit medium.
But this spirit medium was now regaining her senses, she started recoiling backwards.
no subject
Hisao was not the fastest person alive, but his reactions were at least quick enough that he could duck in behind her in case she was falling over.
"Hey, Miss? Are you OK?"
This was not how he'd expected his day to go. Who knew what was up with this girl? Maybe she was on drugs or something? She looked too young for that but you never really knew. Either way, he didn't want her to hurt herself so he extended his hands and waited for her to either fall or say something.
no subject
She couldn't run very fast, but it was simply too hard for her to trust someone that isn't Mio.
The butterflies still fluttered around her, though they were growing less in number. They kept their focus on Mayu, and even laid out a path for Hisao if he were to follow.

Such a mad yearning for Sebastian
That still didn't stop the paranoia. Sebastian could say what he wanted and do whatever he could to make Joseph feel better, but ultimately, STEM lingered in his head. It was like a disease. Something chronic he might never recover from. If he stopped paying too close attention to his surroundings- if he started to space out- he could swear he could see it; something moving in the corner of his eye. A humanoid being moving towards him at a slow pace, a puddle of blood or even red bugs crawling along the walls. Every creak of the house sounded like an invader and every gust of wind was like a whisper in the back of his mind. Then there were the times where he would forget where he was, what day it was, or even who he was. Just for a few seconds, just enough to realize that it was happening.
Was he really getting better? Physically, he was becoming fit enough to wander the house, but mentally... Mentally he didn't feel much stronger at all.
Sebastian had left him alone again. Alone in the bedroom, maybe even alone in the house. That was to be expected. He couldn't expect Seb to watch over him 24/7. Still, he'd seen something. He was sure he'd seen something moving at the end of the hall. In STEM, there was only one way to survive; it was to hide before whatever you'd spotted could spot you. Half an hour ago, Joseph had crawled into the old wardrobe that stood in a corner of the bedroom, knees pulled up to his chest. He'd waited and waited, heart hammering in his chest. Even long after the fear had died down, he hadn't left his hiding place. If anything, he'd dozed off.
It was safe here.]
dayum
And it wasn't going too well.
Joseph had gotten better physically, sure. He got meat back on his bones and he didn't look so malnourished and pale. But he wasn't alright inside of where in ultimately mattered.
If I could just have one day, fucking damn it.
Sebastian didn't have that kind of time left, he just DIDN'T. But he had to try, keep trying. Even if things felt hopeless. So he left Joseph at home for a half an hour alone. Most errands, he brought Joseph along in hopes it would help make Joseph feel like things were normal. As normal as they could be anyway. Sebastian heard the yelling at night and saw the sweating, things were just going terribly and if Joseph could even find himself needing just a little less help then...well.
Seb left to get cheeseburgers, he walked into his house.
No Joseph. Criminy.]
Joseph.
no subject
Joseph hadn't heard Sebastian's call. He was dozing, his head resting sideways against the wall of the wardrobe. With how little sleep he'd gotten last night- or any of the past nights- daytime naps were the only way to catch up.
This wasn't the first time he'd hidden himself somewhere, either. The wardrobe was a preferred spot. Crawling under the bed wasn't an option; not only was it incredibly dusty under there, the gap wasn't big enough. Joseph had tried, on one of the first days. Not even with how much weight he'd lost, a human being couldn't fit under there. That was fine. The wardrobe was good enough. It was dark and quiet, and with all the clothes stashed away in there, it smelled nice.]
no subject
When they came to pick him up, would Joseph just hid around forever?
Sebastian bit his lip, he was feeling very anxious at the very notion of him leaving Joseph and he could barely move around on his own.
He was anxious about a lot of things right now. It made him not sleep nor eat very well. He moved around the house, in the room Joseph was in specifically.]
Come on, Joseph.
no subject
And then Sebastian's voice reached his ears.
He hesitated for a few seconds, before moving himself a bit closer to the doors so he could peek into the room. He couldn't see Sebastian through the tiny slit, but he could see the man's shadow moving along the floor. ...It was his, right? Carefully, he pressed a hand against one of the doors to nudge it open a little further.]
no subject
He heard the wardrobe door open a smidge, and Sebastian let out a sigh. Of course, of course. This didn't bode well at all. It was almost childish now, but Sebastian knew better than to keep on that train of thought. He knew why it was like this for him, but it didn't change his own deep hidden feelings.
He had one day left.]
It's okay, Joseph. It's just me.
[It's always just him.]
no subject
It was embarrassing; adults weren't supposed to act like this. Especially not trained police officers.
He ran a quick hand through his hair to smoothe it out. Compared to his usual neat appearance, he didn't look too great right now. Exhausted, still a little thin, lacking gel to keep his short locks in place. At least he'd started shaving on his own again. That was something.
A deep breath and then, finally, he crawled his way out of the closet. He didn't utter a single word. What was there to say? He'd messed up again, he knew that.]
no subject
Because there would be no point by then right? Sebastian failed.
Fuck that.
Sebastian reached into his pocket and got out a pack of cigarettes, putting one in his mouth and moving slowly back out of the room. He just didn't know what to say, and was trying hard to not promote any defeatist remarks out of either of them. He pushed out the thoughts he just had again.
Keep moving.]
I brought lunch.
[When he was at a distance away, he lit his cigarette.]
