Welcome to the Call Me Out Post!
1) Pick a muse.
2) Pick one of yours.
3) Put which one of mine you want in the subject line.
4) Discuss a prompt on Plurk or literally just start one and surprise me. I'm game.
5) We all profit.

She couldn't run very fast, but it was simply too hard for her to trust someone that isn't Mio.
The butterflies still fluttered around her, though they were growing less in number. They kept their focus on Mayu, and even laid out a path for Hisao if he were to follow.

But she was out here alone and seemed upset. Imagine if he just went his own way then saw in a newspaper on TV that she'd gotten hurt? Or come across someone who's interests weren't as pure as his own?
"Hey! Wait up?" he called, starting after her. The butterflies were still kind of weird, but helpful all the same. He couldn't run very fast either as too much exertion could cause him to have heart trouble. But he was still a little quicker than her.
"Miss, it's dangerous to be out here alone! I just want to try and help you find your group, that's all! I'm not weird or anything, I promise!"
Which is exactly what a weirdo would say. he thought to himself.

She landed with a plop on the ground, dirt covering her face. She couldn't run any longer, her leg started getting spasms. It hurt so very badly. The butterflies seemed to swirl around her, the voices started all over again.
"The ritual...all alone...she ran away."
The ritual, being all alone, it was like the voices knew exactly what it meant for her now. She couldn't find Mio.
"Did she leave you behind?"
Mio...wouldn't just leave her alone, not in these woods. Would she?
She laid there on the dirt, and soon, the butterflies all encased her. The pain was going away, but she couldn't move anymore.

He wasn't frustrated at her for falling down. Not really. He was frustrated with having pushed her that far. He'd seen she had a bad leg, so, why'd he wind up chasing her? Maybe it really WAS better to just leave her be.
But why were those butterflies all over her?
He made another snap decision and started trying to wave them away, taking off his rain poncho and swooshing it through the air.
"I have a clean handkerchief and a bottle of water so you can clean up." he said over the plastic flapping noise of his poncho. "I promise, I'm not going to hurt you! My name is Hisao Nakai, 18, from Yamaku Academy and I'm just trying to help, ok?"

She was terrified, but her new companion wasn't. She tried to look inside of Mayu, speak with her, ease her. Mayu's heart was fluttering like the very butterflies that still hung around.
"Yae..." Mayu breathed out before suddenly going unconscious.

She'd passed out. The girl had legitimately passed out on the ground.
He immediately went for his cellphone and tried dialing emergency services.... but he had no bars. Because of COURSE he had no bars.
"Damnit! Why here? Why now!?"
You would think that attending a school like Yamaku would get you some kind of first aid training. With so many students prone to different disorders, a little CPR or something might go a long way towards saving a life, right? But Hisao was clueless.
OK. Alright. Breathe, Hisao, breathe deeply and concentrate on a solution....
His own condition could be triggered by extreme stress, and this was the last place he needed to have a heart attack.
"Pulse! Make sure she's breathing..."
He placed two fingers on her throat like he'd seen them do in the movies and somehow managed to find her pulse. It was there. Good start. A heartbeat. That was good. How did you test for breathing? Maybe if he placed his ear over her mouth, he could hear it?
He tried that, hoping she wouldn't wake up and freak out that this strange guy who had chased her here was sticking his face all up in her personal space...

Mayu was sure it was that same voice again, but it didn't matter. She awoke with a gasp and the moment of Hisao's touching her.
His face was...REALLY close to her too. Now she was wide awake, which was good. But she was shocked, to say the least.

He tried to back off carefully but being as he was kneeling, it was instead an awkward if deliberate stumble backwards.
"You passed out, Miss - I was checking to make sure you were still breathing. That's all. I don't know if you heard me before, but my name is Hisao and I can help you find who you're looking for, maybe? I, uh, I also have a handkerchief that's clean and a bottle of water if you want to clean your face...?"
Because she was pretty messy.

She found herself moving hesitantly. But she knew she couldn't run anymore. There was a terror lingering in her heart, but the voices went away for now. So now all she had was listening to this boy. No one else was around, and if Hisao meant to hurt her, he could now. But he wasn't.
"...Ah..."

"Hold on just a moment, Miss." he said. "I'm going to get you that water and handkerchief, alright?"
He reached carefully into his bag, hoping she wouldn't take this as a sign he was going to bring out anything nefarious.
"What's your name? If you don't mind me asking?"
