[It had been slow ever since he stopped teaching at the Academy and masquerading Miller. He continued his research on attempting to find Metal Gear but kept encountering dead ends. It was discouraging, even for the hardened soldier. With his dream out of reach and a second chance at life, Liquid found himself... distressed. One wouldn't go as far to say he was depressed but he certainly wasn't feeling his usual confident self.

How do you jump into a normal life when up until this point, yours was nothing but tactical warfare?

The blonde sighed, stirring his tea as he sat outside at a quiet little café in Final Destination City. As he sipped his drink, he casually flipped through the pages of a newspaper, finding himself... wanting a bit of social interaction for once, even if he had to act as that blasted idiot Miller.

Sometimes Liquid honestly wished he was back in Hell. At least there, he didn't think such insecure and weak thoughts.]

Liquid stood up and headed over to her. Once in front of her, he knelt down on one knee, took her hand, and kissed it]

[Ahahahaha...oh you Kaz. Peach's face turned pink and the two got some eyes from the public. Not necessarily bad ones. Some groaned at the cute scene at worst. Some of the younger girls giggled and whispered to each other. "Ooooh, it's just like from that movie I saw-" "Oooh, how cute is that-" "No fair! My own boyfriend doesn't do that!"...things like that.]

[Peach wants to stay and chat oh but...maybe it would be rude to jump in if Kaz wanted to spend time by himself...]

[The real Kaz would have enjoyed the attention. Liquid, however, didn't. Although seeing Peach again was nice...

He stood back up and adjusted his sunglasses, smiling at her]

Care to join me at my table? We can catch up without so many gawkers.

[Peach didn't MIND the gawkers, but that didn't mean she LIKED them. She didn't care too much because Liquid was so sweet and the gesture had shown it. She nodded, happy to be invited into his company.]

I would love to. Having tea with company is more enjoyable anyway.
