Your Knight in Shining Armor is the Greatest Friend feat: Link
[It had been way too long. Ever since Divine Beast Vah Ruta was calmed, and celebratory meetings happened to congratulate, Link was to go move on.
Of course, Sidon knew this. He could not keep a very busy man and warrior, a true hero. It was difficult to spend any time away from duties. Else he would've done something a bit more personal. Link said he would visit in his travels. To that, Sidon offered to help however he could. But he knew his place was in the Domain. He had to protect his people and the land his city was on.
He wished he could do more. It wasn't enough, surely. After all, so much rested on the shoulders of one man. Not matter the status, that was just so much to deal with.
He wished his sister was here. He needed to know what he could do...It wasn't enough.
--
Rounds around the Domain went as usual one afternoon. This was one of the times in which the Prince helped those who guarded the farther sections and posts. Sidon's expertise was of a diplomatic nature, but he was a fighter when needed. He came equipped, just in case. A Zora sword on his side and his trusty tridents strapped to his back. No one needed to trouble guarding him, he assured. If anything, he can take care of himself.
Everything was in good shape. Sidon brought some large trout for the guards, and they were roasting them over a flame. Time for a treat for hungry and weary warriors.]

Deep down the knight knew that anything he could find out about himself was going to make things... complicated, whatever it meant, and he didn't need that when the princess was waiting for him in the castle. Perhaps when it was all over, if he survived his own task, he could consider... visiting? Yes, he wanted to visit again, especially now that even the elders seemed to be okay with his presence.
He wanted to visit again Dento's workshop in future and see what kind of amazing new weapon the man managed to create. He wanted to sit with Rivan and Gaddison to discuss what their childhood around the past Link had been like and he wanted... he wanted...]
... huh.
[He brought a hand to his chest, squeezing his tunic just slightly. He couldn't find the right words to express what he wanted to do with Sidon, but the simple idea of spending time around him- it filled him with some kind of weird warmth, with some happiness the knight failed to describe.
Link finished to take care of what he jokingly called 'the love of his life', a gentle mare that had been at his side since he left the Plateau, and crossed his arms. Mh... he was low on arrows, perhaps he could climb his way from the Wetlands to the Domain to gather some and use that as an excuse to visit? Wait, why did he need an excuse to see someone who called himself his best friend? The knight shook his head, stashed his supplies back in the slate and took a deep breath before teleporting to the Soh Kofi Shrine.
It was time for a visit.]
- - -
He spent most of the day wearing his Hylian set and traveling toward the Domain. The knight's quiver was now full, most of the monsters near the Domain were gone and he could see the guarding post in the distance.
Link licked his lips, he could smell delicious fishes cooking from there and, well, perhaps he could trade some things for a full meal. Not wanting to be mistaken for an attacking Lizalfos, he let out a loud whistle to let the others know someone was about to arrive.]

[It was a story he told time and time again, never losing enthusiasm no matter how many times he told the story.]
-Link is truly incredible. He was so resourceful and he knew exactly what to do, despite any odds.
[The soldiers were definitely listening. Not just the fact Sidon was their kind prince whom they respected, or had given them rewards for their light efforts in a day's work, but because it was nice to hear passion in a world that seemed so dark still.
Telling about the story of victory and hope, Sidon had something to hold on to for his people. A brighter future was on the horizon, and both Link and Sidon were physical proof of that.
That was when they heard the noise. A mere whistle even is what they were trained to seek, so each Zora gulped a piece of salt roasted fish and stood right up with their weapons in hand.
Of course, when it was shown who was there...]
...Link? Link!! Link, welcome back!
[A joy immediately became plastered on his face and his smile, bright as the sun, also returned. He immediately rushed over to greet his friend, with ever a pep in his step. His heart was beating a mile a minute, he was truly overjoyed.]
Oh, what a pleasant surprise! I had missed you so much, my friend!

Meanwhile, with Sidon... Link bit his lips with anticipation as he reached the group, greeting everyone with a small bow and then beaming in the prince's direction.]
Happy... be back... friend.
[Talking was still difficult for the knight, but at the same time Link wanted to put some extra effort in communicating with his... almost brother in law? Best friend? He just decided to leave difficult questions for a later time and just leave the prince as 'someone I care about'.
Link glanced around, glad to see everyone was just busy with a meal and not other more difficult tasks. He wasn't bothering, right? When one of the guards questioned what he was doing there, the knight simply pointed at his full quiver, then at the road behind them before patting his sword. At least until the next Blood Moon the Zora had no reasons to worry about the monsters around the Domain, right?
But explanations could wait, Link only offered another bow in the guards' direction before returning his attention to the prince. His ears twitched and he found himself questioning why his heartbeat skyrocketed, but... he could work on his personal answers later. He pointed one finger in Sidon's direction, tilting his head just slightly.]
Good?
[His own way to ask the prince how he was doing, if he needed help with anything and if everything was okay in the Domain. Words weren't exactly his ally.]

Link was a man of action, so words had to come from Sidon.
His smile never left his face as he regarded his friend. To show that he was in good spirits too, Sidon took Link's hand in his and gave it a shake.]
So happy to see you, my friend. We are fine, just enjoying a campfire. Were you heading toward the Domain for an errand?
no subject
No, he rarely got a chance to see his beloved friend and he was going to treasure it.]
I... huh... no. Needed arrows. [Then he took a deep breath, preparing for what felt like a somehow embarrassing confession. The next words took him more effort than he wanted to admit.] Wanted to visit.
[And with that, he pointed in Sidon's direction to let the other know he specifically wanted to visit him. No real plans, now he felt like an idiot for that. Oh, well... Oh, perhaps he could make himself useful! The Knight let go of Sidon's hand and reached for his slate, checking his inventory until he was finally in the section where all fishes were gathered. He tapped the screen, pointing at the hearty salmons first then at the fire.]
Mh? [He was offering. that was... a nice offer, right? That kind of animals only lived near Rito Village after all, wouldn't it be... nice? Or, well...] But if not, huh... can help? [He asked, pointing at himself]

[There wasn’t any pressing need for assistance, so he looked on to the slate on Link’s side as it was pulled out. Ah yes. That gifted technology that he was so curious about. That technology he had only seen once or twice since meeting Link more officially.
Fish? Salmon? Helping with fish? Ah, for the cooking? Yes! Sidon gave out a gentle nod as he looked at the little hero fondly. Always wanting to help.]
You have fish on your person? We can cook them here and have a feast of it. Which you are welcome to come, relax, and enjoy yourself, of course.
