When You Paint, I Know It's Your True Self. (feat. Yusuke)

[To think that Daria had more than one or two social arrangements after her classes on a normal day in her life. But nowadays, since she graduated high school and started college, it was somehow a thing that seemed to happen. When in public school, Daria wasn't into feeding the after school programs with bodies to make the school boards look better when they weren't doing actual good for the student body. Or to flab out a college application with dishonest fluff. Unless she was pushed into it somehow. Staying around her dreadful school longer than she had to was a bit of a thing she fought against. Nah, she was more into expanding her mind on her own, writing, or vegging out with a good book or bad TV.

When that changed somewhat as the years went on, actually getting friends and being a little more open and all, college life was so different.

It came to be on a day that she was aiming to spend some time with another budding artist. Another weird artist that she found the company of by happenstance. Another weird person that seemed to touch her cold soul and somehow find something weirdly familiar. Someone who seemed to appreciate the arts, and someone who reminded her of another good friend.

And it took just that one painting critique, honest as it was.

Daria, in all of her past isolation, sought out the artistic young lad. Soon enough, their hangouts were a little more frequent. It was such weird company, it was. But he was in a zone with his art, and he asked if she wanted to see his other pieces.

To which, she agreed to.

A cold autumn morning meant light coat and two cups of hot chocolate. Wild, still, how this all was. She found his place, the address given, and rang the doorbell.]
